The multicultural media company with Albert Rodriguez at the helm that's parent to the Estrella TV network is seeking to "strengthen and expand" its news operations. This has led to bringing on a former President of News for the Univision network as a Senior Advisor.

In early February, Mary Quass-led NRG Media shared it is exiting the Omaha-Council Bluffs radio market after more than two decades. Now, broker of record Kalil & Co. has shared the news that NRG Media is agreeing to sell a collection of Wisconsin properties to the privately held operation led by Peter Tanz.

She's been an integral leader at Graham Media Group since November 2019. In October, she was appointed Chief Revenue Officer. Now, this local TV leader is adding responsibilities at the station known as "LOCAL 4" held until December 10 by Bob Ellis.

Now, DirecTV has confirmed that it has filed its own federal antitrust lawsuit with the aim of doing what Washington lobbyists couldn't — killing the transaction.
