On Friday, hundreds of thousands of radio listeners across the South were stunned by the news that "The ACE & TJ Show" has come to its end, and a new incarnation is already in the works. But"TJ & Riggins," the successor show, won't be airing on the Beasley Media Group FM in Charlotte on which Ace & TJ were heard.

Paperwork has been submitted with the FCC that seeks regulatory approval for a transaction in which a FM radio station licensed to Rockdale, Tex., will be transferred to the Cowboy Broadcasting Network from its current licensee.

There will be no death sentence for a 2,500-watt Class A FM serving the capital of Canada and neighbouring Gatineau, Québec. That's because Evanov Communications, with hours to spare, secured a buyer for the Ottawa radio station known as "Lite 98.5."
