The entrepreneur has a fresh buyer in place for a low-power TV station serving San Francisco, after failing to sell it to Penny and David Drucker in February and, in 2024, to Scott Centers. Who's the new buyer? It's a face familiar to longtime viewers of KGO-TV who has made a name in South Asian-focused media.

The President of the Center for American Rights — a right-wing lobbying group intent on getting the FCC to probe NBC, ABC and CBS for "news distortion" — is suggesting the Commission should reclaim valued spectrum from any public radio or TV station should they fail to meet their respective operational budgets. 

The Association of Independents in Radio has received an investment from the Ford Foundation, which the group says strengthens its capacity and advances long-term support for independent audio creators. "This funding marks a significant moment for AIR and the independent audio field," AIR says.
