From the Hawaiian Islands to New England, dozens of stations within the iHeartMedia family have parted ways with employees on multiple levels of the audio content creation and distribution company's core radio broadcasting unit. Among the casualties is the Market President for Raleigh-Durham, and the Boston Region President.

On or about October 13, an individual with equity interest in a collection of New Hampshire radio stations passed away. This led a family member of the now-deceased sole owner of the stations to petition the state Probate Court to make him a special administrator of his estate. Now, the FCC is being asked to approve the plan.
