This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

At 521 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Piney Point to near Farnham to near Center Cross. Movement was east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Callao, Robley, Lewisetta, Farnham, and Sharps around 525 PM EDT. Jamaica, Morattico, and Heathsville around 530 PM EDT. Lancaster around 540 PM EDT. Wicomico Church around 545 PM EDT. Kilmarnock and Fair Port around 550 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include Byrdton, Lottsburg, Avalon, Brook Vale, Bertrand, Reedville, Belle Isle State Park, Millenbeck, Crouch, and Westmoreland.
