This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

Mississippi River at Clarksville. Mississippi River at Louisiana. Mississippi River at Canton. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Illinois...Missouri... Mississippi River at Saverton. River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Mississippi River at Hannibal. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, The northern end of Southside Recreation #2 Park along Bear Creek begins flooding at this height. Gate wells are shut down to prevent the sewers from backing up. Also at this level pumps are set to standby. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:15 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 17.7 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:15 AM CDT Wednesday was 17.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.4 feet Saturday morning. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
