Initial Statement of REC Networks: Prometheus, et al files Petition for Reconsideration on denial of their FM translator informal Objection

Prometheus, et al has filed a Petition for Reconsideration of the denial of their Informal Objection on some of the translator applications. REC is reviewing the objection and should have a statement by end of day.

FCC announces ETRS Form One due date, August 27 for 2018 National EAS Test

The FCC has issued a Public Notice to announce that for the 2018 National EAS Test, all broadcast stations must have their Form One filled out in ETRS prior to August 27, 2018.  Like previous years, REC is offering full-service filing for Forms One, Two and Three for a single flat rate of $150/all in per station.  Please contact REC at 1-844-REC-LPFM or use the Contact REC link on the REC website.

REC adds LMS real time functionality to enhance FCC.today and FCCdata.org

On June 21, 2018, REC Networks now offers a real-time view into the FCC's Licensing and Management System (LMS) database.  This functionality complements the existing functionality that takes a similar look into the FCC's Consolidated Database System (CDBS).  Throughout the weekday, the LMS update will take place immediately after the CDBS update once every 5 minutes.  REC's real-time LMS functionality behave similar to the CDBS functionality by looking at all application activity that has a status date of the current day.  There is currently a hard limitation that only

FCC assigns REC LPFM Petition for Rulemaking RM-11810 - Comments accepted until July 19, 2018

Edited: We are correcting the comment deadline date to July 19.

Earlier today, the FCC’s Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau has issued a Public Notice that assigns a rulemaking number to the Petition for Rulemaking filed by REC Networks on June 13, 2018.
