FCCdata AM engineering fix, Radio History Project update

By admin | 8:26 AM EST, Mon January 13, 2025

FCCdata - AM engineering fix

Fixed an issue where FCC AM records were showing in the engineering section (left side) but no facility details were shown when the item was clicked.  This was an issue associated with the recent retirement of CDBS. Records were not properly routing to the legacy BAPS data.   This involved making changes to the underlying eLMS AM application list table to remove the references to application IDs assigned by LMS but contain no engineering data.

Applications shown in the application history (right side) where there is no transitioned application available in LMS are now showing with the file number and no link.

Radio History Project

Added several new stations in the Radio History Project for AM.  Stations chosen are based on "groups" which are identified through the dialscape centered on major cities.  This includes all stations that are either within the 0.5 mV/m daytime contour or 80 km of the location being checked.

We are now at 100% coverage in the following groups:

1 - New York, NY
2 - Los Angeles, CA
3 - Chicago, IL
5 - Dallas, TX
