It's a freshly finalized deal signed on Wednesday that has just been submitted with the FCC for regulatory approval. And, it will see the sale of an FM translator serving a South Carolina city as "94.9 The Palm" to one of the Southeast's biggest Spanish-language media companies.

Founded by the Tyler family, the company is comprised of a small group of Telemundo, Univision and Estrella Media affiliates; an outdoor advertising business; and a collection of 13 radio stations. With regulatory approval, the number of radio properties will soon grow to 14.

It was once a group of regional sports networks linked to FOX Sports and then gained Bally Sports branding through a licensing agreement. Today, 16 RSNs under Sinclair Inc.'s Diamond Sports Group subsidiary are known as FanDuel Sports Network. And, it's just gained an important OTT access point.

On October 2, Woodward Communications officially closed on its purchase of four radio stations serving Springfield, Ill., from Neuhoff Media. Now, Woodward is growing again, this time with a deal that sees it agree to purchase three FMs and an AM in this Illinois market.

Latino Media Network (LMN) is welcoming a new Executive VP of Audio Sales and Client Solutions, taking a seat alongside owners and co-founders Stephanie Valencia and Jessica Morales Rocketto and interim Chief Executive Officer Marc Manahan.

A newly created position has been filled in the Washington, D.C., offices of Nexstar Media Group, and it seeks an individual gaining responsibilities for the company’s national news content, generated for The Hill and MVPD-distributed NewsNation. He starts his new role on Monday.
