This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Kimble, Mason, McCulloch, Menard and San Saba. * WHEN...Until 315 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1210 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to slow moving thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen with another 1 to 3 inches possible. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Brady, San Saba, Mason, Cherokee, Fredonia, Pontotoc, Voca, Katemcy, Art, Streeter, Hilda, Loyal Valley, and Hext. - This includes the following Low Water Crossings... FM 1851 crossing Tiger Creek, crossings along FM 1221, FM 1030 crossing Wallace Creek, Hurley crossing, Oak Grove crossing, Old Union crossing San Fernando Creek, Spy Rock crossing, Old Katemcy Mason crossing Comanche Creek, Vater crossing Hasse Creek and Behrens School crossing Comanche Creek.
