This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

Des Moines River at Fort Dodge affecting Webster County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...The Des Moines River at Fort Dodge, or from the municipal power dam...to Lehigh. * WHEN...From late tonight to Tuesday evening. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, water affects roads to residences in Fort Dodge along the river and limits access to some subdivisions. At 11.0 feet, water affects lowland areas near the river and threatens residences along the river in Fort Dodge. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 10.2 feet and rising. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 10.9 feet tomorrow evening.
