This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

West Fork Des Moines River at Humboldt affecting Humboldt County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...The West Fork Des Moines River at Humboldt, or from Joe Reasoner Dam...to the East Fork Des Moines River. * WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 9.5 feet, water begins threatening homes along Iowa Highway 3 just west of town. At 10.0 feet, water impacts some homes along Country Club Dr. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 10.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.9 feet tomorrow morning.
