This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

Trinity River near Crockett affecting Madison, Houston, Trinity and Walker Counties. Trinity River at Liberty affecting Liberty County. Trinity River near Goodrich affecting Liberty, Polk and San Jacinto Counties. Trinity River near Moss Bluff affecting Chambers and Liberty Counties. Trinity River at Riverside affecting Trinity, Polk, Walker and San Jacinto Counties. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texas... Menard Creek near Rye affecting Liberty, Hardin and Polk Counties. Bedias Creek near Madisonville affecting Walker and Madison Counties. For the Trinity River...including Crockett, Riverside, Romayor, Goodrich, Liberty, Moss Bluff...Major flooding is forecast. For the Menard Creek...including Rye...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Trinity River at Riverside. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 140.0 feet, Major lowland flooding begins with widespread flooding in Trinity and Walker Counties. Water is in several homes in the Deep River Plantation and Green Rich Shores subdivisions.
