This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

Trinity River at Liberty affecting Liberty County. Trinity River near Goodrich affecting San Jacinto, Liberty and Polk Counties. Trinity River near Moss Bluff affecting Chambers and Liberty Counties. Trinity River at Riverside affecting San Jacinto, Trinity, Polk and Walker Counties. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texas... Bedias Creek near Madisonville affecting Madison and Walker Counties. For the Trinity River...including Crockett, Riverside, Romayor, Goodrich, Liberty, Moss Bluff...Major flooding is forecast. For the Menard Creek...including Rye...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Bedias Creek near Madisonville. * WHEN...Until tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding begins as water escapes the main channel in the vicinity of the gage. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 19.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:45 AM CDT Saturday was 23.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.6 feet this afternoon.
