This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

For the Little Osage River...including Horton...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Little Osage River near Horton. * WHEN...Until Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 41.0 feet, minor flooding affects low lying areas near the gage site and farmland along the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 43.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 41.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:45 AM CDT Saturday was 43.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 31.4 feet Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 41.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 43.0 feet on 05/19/2015. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
