This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

The next statement will be issued Sunday morning at 800 AM CDT. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Calcasieu River near White Oak Park. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 3.0 feet, Water over lowest portions of Goos Ferry Road. Cars should be moved to higher ground. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:35 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 3.3 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:35 AM CDT Saturday was 3.3 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 3.5 feet Monday morning. It will then fall early Monday afternoon. It will rise to 3.5 feet Monday evening. It will then fall early Tuesday afternoon. It will rise to 3.5 feet Tuesday evening.
