This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Special Weather Statement issued May 1 at 12:00AM EDT by NWS Morristown TN

Fog is currently developing across parts of the forecast area tonight due to the combination of clearing skies, calm winds, and residual low-level moisture. Fog is expected to expand into the overnight hours and become locally dense, especially in valley locations. Expect visibility to drop as low as one quarter of a mile at times. If traveling tonight or the early Wednesday morning hours, use caution; slow down and use low beam headlights. The fog will gradually lift and clear by Wednesday morning.
