This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

For the East Fork San Jacinto River...including Cleveland, New Caney...Major flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. * WHERE...East Fork San Jacinto near New Caney. * WHEN...Until Thursday evening. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 60.7 feet. - Bankfull stage 54.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:00 PM CDT Tuesday was 60.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 71.7 feet just after midnight tonight.
