This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas... Chambers Creek Near Rice affecting Navarro County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE...Chambers Creek near Rice. * WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, Moderate out of bank flooding will occur along the creek. A few rural roads will be flooded. Minor lowland flooding is expected for farms and ranches downstream. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 25.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 24.0 feet. - Flood stage is 24.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late this evening and continue falling to 7.2 feet early Sunday afternoon.
