This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

Mississippi River at Alton. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Illinois...Missouri... Mississippi River at Grafton. River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Mississippi River at Grafton. * WHEN...From this evening to late Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 21.9 feet, In northern St. Charles County, Missouri Route B from Lehmond Island Road to Kampville Drive, Wilson Road at Washeon Road, and Grafton Ferry Road and Sherwood Harbor Road north of Smartt Field are closed. West of Portage des Sioux, Sioux Drive is also closed at this height. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 19.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this evening to a crest of 22.0 feet early Thursday afternoon.
