This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

For the Trinity River...including Riverside, Romayor, Goodrich, Liberty, Moss Bluff...Major flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Trinity River at Riverside. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 137.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding continues as several homes in the Green Rich Shores Subdivision in Walker County flood and water covers Thomas Lake Road. The lowest buildings off FM 980 northwest of Riverside flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 137.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 133.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:30 AM CDT Tuesday was 137.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 137.3 feet this evening. - Flood stage is 133.5 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 137.5 feet on 05/29/2016. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
