This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

For the Trinity River...including Riverside, Romayor, Goodrich, Liberty, Moss Bluff...Major flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Trinity River near Romayor. * WHEN...From this afternoon to early Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 41.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding begins as water spreads into the flood plain. Livestock and equipment should be removed from the flood plain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 38.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 30.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 41.3 feet tomorrow morning.
