This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

Grand River near Chillicothe affecting Livingston and Linn Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Grand River near Brunswick. * WHEN...Until Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Flooding of low-lying areas occurs along the west bank of the Grand River near the U.S. Highway 24 bridge about 1 mile west of Brunswick. At 22.0 feet, Low-lying areas along the east bank of the Grand River near the U.S. Highway 24 bridge begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:52 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 23.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.4 feet this evening.
