Land Mobile Propagation Curves

Please Support REC in 2019

Help support REC Networks as we raise money to pay our annual web hosting bills and other expenses for advocacy, especially in light of changes coming to LPFM. Thank you in advance!
NOTE: This page is not to be used for FM or TV broadcast. - Use our CURVES page instead.

This page can be used for the land mobile VHF bands between 30~50 and 148~174 MHz. It can also be used for the 6 meter and 2 meter amateur radio bands (it may also be safe to use with the 220 MHz band) as well as a potential narrowband broadcasting allocation at 26 MHz.

These curves are based on FCC Report R-6406: Technical Factors Affecting the Assignment of Facilities in the Domestic Public Land Mobile Radio Service by Roger Carey (FCC, 1964).
