This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

For the Trinity River...including Crockett, Riverside, Romayor, Goodrich, Liberty, Moss Bluff...Major flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Trinity River near Romayor. * WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 42.0 feet, Major lowland flooding begins with widespread inundation of the flood plain in the vicinity of the gage. Numerous head of livestock are threatened if not already removed from the flood plain. Downstream communities in Liberty should prepare for possible flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Monday the stage was 36.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 30.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early tomorrow afternoon and continue rising to a crest of 41.9 feet early Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 40.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 42.2 feet on 05/10/1957. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
