This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

For the Bedias Creek...including Madisonville...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Bedias Creek near Madisonville. * WHEN...Until early Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Major lowland flooding begins with widespread inundation of the flood plain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 24.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 6:45 PM CDT Monday was 24.9 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall to 21.7 feet tomorrow morning. It will then rise to 21.8 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will fall below flood stage early Wednesday morning to 14.7 feet Wednesday evening. It will then rise to 15.5 feet early Thursday morning.
