This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Nevada... Humboldt River At Comus affecting Humboldt County. For the Lower Humboldt...including Palisade, Battle Mountain, Comus...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE...Humboldt River at Comus. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 10.5 feet, Moderate Flood Stage. Moderate lowland flooding throughout the reach, with some rural roads flooded. Minor flooding in the lower parts of Winnemucca with storm drain backups. Main area impacted is between the Union Pacific Railroad and Second street beneath Interstate 80. Property damage in Winnemucca is minimal. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:15 PM PDT Monday the stage was 9.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 8.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon and continue rising to 10.3 feet Friday evening. Additional rises are possible thereafter. - Flood stage is 9.5 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 10.4 feet on 04/03/1993. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
