FAQ: What was LP-10 (LP10)?

LP-10 was a service that was approved by the FCC in 2000 in the original LPFM Report and Order. LP-10 stations would have been 10 watts at 30 meters height above average terrain. No LP-10 stations were ever approved. The FCC removed the LP-10 service in the 2012 Report and Order that implemented the LCRA.
