LPFM stations subject to pledges and limitations on assignments

The following LPFM stations are subject to the main studio and local programming pledges.  This is due to the outcome of these stations during the MX window.  Any LPFM applicant that needed to use their points as a part of the comparative review to determine the outcome of the window will be expected to follow the pledges.  Applicants that filed a universal agreement (those that involved all remaining group members) may not be subject to pledges as the points did not play a part of their agreement. 

This list includes applicants involved in point/eligibility disputes.

Under the changes in the FCC Rules that went into effect on October 30, 2020, LPFM stations that are on this list are subject to a restriction where any assignment of license application filed within 4 years of when the facility was first licensed (exclusive of silent periods) would be limited to organizations that would otherwise score the same number of comparative points or greater.  If the licensee reached the tiebreaker and was subject to involuntary time sharing must have a local establishment date the same or earlier of the most recently established (youngest) local applicant in the tied MX group.

For stations that have not reached their 4 years on the air, we provide the date when an assignment application can be filed without the restriction as well as the number of point threshold needed to meet or exceed the point guideline.  For involuntary timeshares, the local presence date of the youngest organization in the MX group is shown.  If the station does not show a §73.865 date, then it can be assigned without restrictions.
