REC Telephone Entertainment

Old REC Logos

Most recordings are currently not available at this time. Only the "Other REC Recordings" section has audio content right now. When we recover more, we will make it available.

5/15/2011 UPDATE! ~ We are restoring the recordings from 1987 through the 1990s. Click on those links to hear the recordings. We also will have some recordings from 1986 up shortly. Tapes from mid-1986 and earlier will require a new restoration project which would not be able to be done until at least late Fall 2011.

Enjoy what we are putting online and remember the insanity we called REC407!

REC started as a telephone entertainment line. A simple answering machine answering a single phone number. Over the years, REC would become a free phone fun empire with as many as 15 phone numbers doing all kinds of different things. REC may have not been the best quality line, but you can admit, we were the most innovative.

To listen to recordings, you must have RealPlayer or RealAlternative.
