Observatory

Observatory was a telephone line that operated in the early an mid-1980's and was revived for a short period of time in the 1990. Observatory was hosted by Bob Observatory, also known as "Bob Ob". Most Observatory recordings were very simple comment line tapes with minimal production required. In the latter years, Observatory would start to lean more towards production with the cooperation of friends Nino Telephun, Paul Mack and William Wilde.

In 1994, REC Networks obtained the full rights to all Observatory recordings and we have had the surviving Observatory library in storage at REC. Several years ago, we did make an effort to electronically preserve "Ob" recordings. This is a process that we may continue in the future.
